  • Tile or LVP flooring, optional in-floor heat

Building in Hoquiam.

Hoquiam has the same older housing stock as Aberdeen, plenty of 1900s–1950s homes with original plumbing and wiring that need bringing up to code once the walls are open.

Permits: City of Hoquiam inside city limits, Grays Harbor County outside them. We pull them and handle the drawings and engineering when a job needs them.

Who does the work.

Our own crews do most of it: Nick's crew (Nick, Alex, Brian, Alexis and Jose), the build crew (Ray, Andrew, Mike, Chris, Colton and Kaden), and Andy, Hunter and Cliff on maintenance. For the rest we call local trades we've worked with for years. Spivey Building Co. is licensed, bonded and insured (WA L&I SPIVEBC764M4), with the office and shop at 101 N Park Street in Aberdeen.

Common questions.

How much does a bathroom remodel cost?

It depends on size, tile and whether plumbing moves. We look first, then give you a real number. Send us the basics and Kevin will send a ballpark.

What if you find water damage?

It happens a lot here. We show you what we found, price the fix, and you decide before we go on.

Do I need a permit?

Cosmetic work usually doesn’t. Moving plumbing or walls does, and we handle it.
